• Hiking to one of the most beautiful lagoons in the Cordillera Blanca, its strategic location below the snowy Hualcán makes it reflect an intense blue in its waters.Laguna 513 requires adequate acclimatization and having the physical preparation to walk for more than 6 continuous hours round trip, it is located within the Huascarán National Park area, in the province of Carhuaz and is a good alternative if you have already visited Laguna 69 or Parón lagoon.

Half day full: Laggon 513:

04:00 a.m.: Departure to Carhuaz, from where we will take the road on the east side towards the Cordillera Blanca, passing through the village of Hualcán. On the way, we will observe different agricultural crops, domestic animals of the local communities and enjoy splendid views of the Huascaran mountain. Our transportation will take us to Shonquilpampa, where we will get ready with everything we need to embark on a horizontal trail that, little by little, will zigzag upwards parallel to the Chucchún River until we reach the Rajupaquinán lagoon.

After a brief rest on the shores of Rajupaquinán, we will continue ascending until we reach Laguna 513, located right at the foot of the Hualcán mountain (6,350 m). There we will enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and the magnificent color of the lagoon. After a break for lunch and photographs, we can visit a third, and even a fourth, lagoon called Cochca, also located at the foot of the snow-capped Hualcan.

Then, we will return by the same trail to our transportation, which will be waiting for us in Shonquilpampa to take us back to Huaraz.

SERVICE VOUCHER:

Once the payment of the reservation has been confirmed, you must provide the following information:

First name and surname of each of the people who will make the tour, ID number, date of birth and age.

In case there is a minor child in the group, you must prove that you are the child’s father or mother. In case the child is not traveling with his/her parents, you must provide a notarized letter that proves the parents’ permission to take the tours.

You must also provide the address of the hotel where they will be picked up and a cell phone number, if applicable.

The data will be corroborated by you, and must be correctly written, both in the dates and destination of the tour(s), as well as your personal data. In case there is any error, you must communicate it immediately so that it can be corrected and revised again until it is approved by you.

By approving the correct issuance of the service voucher, you are authorizing the tour to be carried out according to the data described therein.

The service voucher is a document that will be used by us, you, the guide and the driver.

CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS:

Any cancellation or modification must be made in writing to the email quechuatours2@gmail.com or with the express confirmation via Whatsapp +51989327337 of the person in charge (Tania Guerrero).

In case you cancel the reservation 10 days before, 50% of the total amount will be refunded.

In the case that the reservation is canceled the same day before or the same day nothing will be refunded and the agency will charge the total.

Cancellations or modifications will be accepted if made before 3 days prior to admission, with the charge of 10% of the total for management fees.

If you reserve the same day and the same day you cancel, you will be charged 10% of the total amount paid.

If you have obtained an offer, it must be paid in advance, no discount will be applied and no reservations will be made if you have not paid the total amount of the offer days before the tour.
